Each person belongs to a Spiritual Family, a group of spiritual energies and beings that are aligned with a similar frequency and similar spiritual purpose. This is why some people like the heat and some people love snow, why some people like the dessert and others love the mountains, some people are drawn to angels and others resonate more with Hindu Gods, or Native American Spirits. Some people feel a deep connection with Christ, while others do not. And why some people have a passion for chocolate and others not so much.
You could explain the draw to chocolate as simply the result of the way individuals process the chemical reactions that cocoa and chocolate produce in the body. But which came first, the chicken or the egg? I perceive that if one has a strong energetic and spiritual resonance with chocolate it amplifies the body's bio-chemical response.
For years I had been talking about doing a workshop on the Spirituality of Chocolate to explore this further, and we finally did.
DEMONSTRATED SERIOUS CONNECTIONS
During this holiday season, it is likely that you will come across a few opportunities to eat some chocolate! So make it an exercise in mysticism, use the chocolate as a doorway for mystical exploration. Before you eat any chocolate, feel into it, let it "talk to you". If you had to get a sense of its "personality" what would it be like? Eat it slowly and perceive how your body responds, physically and energetically. As most people instinctively suspect, there is much more to chocolate than just a great dessert.
